Realtek Ethernet Controller Driver Findfile Failed

Hi I just built a computer with motherboard Biostar TZ77XE4. I am running Windows Vista 32bit because I'm using my old hard drive.
I can't connect to the internet because I need to update the ethernet/lan cable driver(or something.)
I know that I have to download it on a different computer that has internet and transfer the driver via flashdrive.
I have looked on the Biostar website(http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=582#download) and tried finding the driver I need but they don't have it for Vista 32bit On-Board Lan driver. The only option when choosing the OS from the Biostar website is Vista x64 and Vista x86.
I searched it on the web and found the driver here http://www.driverscape.com/manufacturers/biostar/laptops-desktops/tz77xe4/21757
I think under Network and Wireless Drivers.
HOWEVER, when I click 'download' and run the 'setup' file on my laptop(the computer that has internet) it gives me three options 1.Modify 2.Repair 3.Remove and I can't choose 'modify' only the other options.
This is the same when I try to download the driver from the manufacture website Biostar(the first link I posted.)
I am confused, How can I download this 'realtek ethernet controller driver' onto my laptop without installing it automatically so that I can just download it, put it on my flashdrive, then transfer it to my new desktop?
Also note, when I click option number 2 'repair' (because I can't choose modify and the 'remove' option would remove the driver) it says
'The installshield wizard is repairing Realtek Ethernet Controller Driver' and when it is finished it says 'findfile failed.'
Someone help me with this, how do you download this driver without automatically installing on my laptop?

Hi, I have a new PC, P55-HD55, Win7 32, i5-650. I cannot install the pcie lan driver. With the driver from the MSI website and also tried the realtek website, when attempting to install the driver it pops up 'FindFile failed'. Ethernet controller is enabled in device manager however, I just tried reinstalling the drivers just in case and a pop up showed up saying 'FindFile failed' followed by new version unknown. And then the rest of the installation completed so I'm currently uninstalling driver and trying a new driver from Realtek website.

HELP! - new build wont connect to the internet

EDIT THANK YOU EVERYONE, turns out the drivers I installed from my motherboards website had a broken file for the Ethernet connector and once I uninstalled that and got the (exact same) one from realteks website it fixed itself. None of the settings or indicators that it is/isn't working have changed so if anyone else has this problem give that a go.

naged to revert that but now it's all weird (

Describe your problem. List any error messages and symptoms. Be descriptive.

Hi, i built my system yesterday and everything turned on and got into BIOS on the first try, and now i've installed windows however when i plug my ethernet in it doesn't seem to identify it. If i diagnose the problem it says that that it doesn't have a valid IP configuration and can't fix it.

List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem.

I have updated the BIOS drivers and the Realtek LAN driver from the ASRock website via flash drive and restarted it hoping that would fix it but it still couldnt connect. I tried a different ethernet cable direct from the modem (one in my room uses a power-line adapter) and that didn't help either.
