Nothing yet from Adobe. They are trying to see what is going on, but it looks like a Microsoft problem with COM addins.
As for the Outlook issue, I'm afraid I don't have anything.
I also forgot to mention that having this issue, I uninstalled Office 2019 and reinstalled Office 2016. Same problem there as well, so I'm wondering would this issue have something to do with Windows 10 Pro 1809 version itself? I had 1803/1709 in the past and then all office software were funtioning just fine. Did clean installation of 1809 and nothing seems to work well anymore. Would enybody know hot to download Windows 10 1709 or 1803 from Microsoft? Media creation tool only gives the 1809 version.... As for the Outlook issue, I'm afraid I don't have anything.
- To get around Adobe not officially supporting the Acrobat XI PDFMaker plugin on Office 2016 I performed the following registry (.reg) change. To use, just copy the below code to a new notepad document and save as.reg and change the 'Save As Type:' to All Files.
- Acrobat X installs PDFMaker, a set of PDF-related controls, into the Microsoft Office applications. The appearance and abilities of PDFMaker vary depending on your version of Office and which Office component you are working with.
Acrobat Pdfmaker Office Com Add In Downloads
Like many other users I am getting the 'Missing PDF maker files' when trying to convert a MS Word document (Office 2010) to a PDF document. I am using Acrobat 8 professional and everything seemed to be working fine in MS Office 2007. Unlike some of the other users I did not experience this problem until I installed MS Office 2010. I have tried most everything posted on the forum including uuninstalling and then reinstalling the software and installing all available updates, but I continue to get the same message. Does anyone have a soultion?
Many thanks!
